Hi, I’m Lavelle Carlson—retired speech-language pathologist, children’s author, and creator of SLP Storytellers.

For many years, I worked with children who struggled with speech and language, helping them find their voices through play, laughter, and stories. That passion never left me.

After retiring, I turned my love for teaching into writing—creating storybooks, games, and activities that make learning fun for both kids and educators and writing stories related to my many travels and love of animals.
